高地の幾何文という文様の意味

菱形、八角星、階段状の帯は、中国西南部の織りで最も古い語彙です。図案ではなく機（はた）の格子そのものから生まれた形で、壮族・ミャオ族と近隣の伝統はそれぞれ少しずつ違う読み方をしますが、多くは太陽、山、八方位を指します。

作り方

細い錦の帯をゴム芯の上で手作業でギャザーし、見えない縫い目で閉じます。ひだが不揃いなのは意図したものです。

合わせ方

図形的で性別を選ばず、日常づかいが最もしやすい文様です。

お手入れ

低温の手洗い、中性洗剤で。濡れたまま形を整え、熱を避けて平干ししてください。ゴム芯が縫い込まれているため、ねじって絞らないでください。
