高地の幾何文という文様の意味
菱形、八角星、階段状の帯は、中国西南部の織りで最も古い語彙です。図案ではなく機（はた）の格子そのものから生まれた形で、壮族・ミャオ族と近隣の伝統はそれぞれ少しずつ違う読み方をしますが、多くは太陽、山、八方位を指します。

長い一枚の錦を織ってから直角に整え、縁をかがってからハンドルを取り付けます。だからこそ柄が前面を途切れずに走ります。
