万象（万物の形）という文様の意味

万象とは一万の事物、すなわち世界が抱えるあらゆる生きた形を指します。複数の伝統文様を一つの密な面に重ね、一方向ではなくあらゆる方向への豊かさを願って織られます。

作り方

錦の面を先に織り、裁断・縁かがりのうえ革のボディへ手作業で組み上げます。文様の位置はプリントの見当ではなく、一点ごとに決められます。

コレクションで最も密度の高い織り。だからこそ落ち着いた革と合わせます。

お手入れ

錦は乾いた柔らかい布で拭き、革には年に二度、無色のクリームを。長時間の直射日光は避けてください。草木染めの糸は革よりずっと早く退色します。
