高地の幾何文という文様の意味

菱形、八角星、階段状の帯は、中国西南部の織りで最も古い語彙です。図案ではなく機（はた）の格子そのものから生まれた形で、壮族・ミャオ族と近隣の伝統はそれぞれ少しずつ違う読み方をしますが、多くは太陽、山、八方位を指します。

作り方

錦を口金に張り、削り出したハンドルの周りで仕上げます。縫い口より手間のかかる作りですが、袋口が角ばったまま保たれます。

図形的で性別を選ばず、日常づかいが最もしやすい文様です。

お手入れ

錦は乾いた柔らかい布で拭いてください。竹と木は乾いた場所を好みます。水に浸さず、雨に濡れた場合は熱源を避けて自然乾燥させてください。
