Resting Phoenix · Pale Blue is a woven mini frame bag built around a panel of handwoven Zhuang brocade woven in the phoenix and phoenix-blossom motif, cut and positioned by hand before it is mounted. Motif placement is decided per bag, so no two are identical.

The brocade is stretched over a clasp frame and finished around a turned handle, a construction that takes longer than a sewn opening but keeps the mouth of the bag square.
Reads as a single graphic shape from a distance, so it holds its own against plain tailoring.
Wipe the brocade with a dry, soft cloth. Wooden and bamboo parts prefer a dry room; avoid soaking, and let the piece dry naturally if it is caught in rain.
