Read the full shipping and returns policy →The xiuqiu, a stitched brocade ball finished with tassels, is the object at the centre of Zhuang courtship: it is thrown, caught and kept. Twelve petals stand for the twelve months, so the whole year is held in one hand.
Each sachet is cut, filled, knotted and tasselled by hand — the same sequence used for the guardian charms that gave the form its name.
A three-dimensional piece — it is meant to hang and swing, not to lie flat.
Spot clean only. If the tassel separates, comb it straight with your fingers while it is slightly damp and let it dry hanging.
