Brocade Vessel · Myriad Forms is a woven bucket bag built around a panel of handwoven Zhuang brocade woven in the wanxiang myriad-forms motif, cut and positioned by hand before it is mounted. Motif placement is decided per bag, so no two are identical.

Read the full shipping and returns policy →Wanxiang means the ten thousand things — every living form the world contains. The motif layers several traditional figures into one dense field, and it is woven as a wish for abundance in every direction rather than in one.
The brocade panel is woven first, then cut, edge-bound and assembled onto a leather body by hand, so the motif is positioned per bag rather than repeated to a print register.
The busiest weave in the collection, which is why it is usually paired with a quiet leather.
Wipe the brocade with a dry, soft cloth and treat the leather with a neutral cream twice a year. Keep the woven face out of prolonged direct sun, which fades plant-dyed threads faster than it fades leather.
